The 2018 J/24 Canadians were held during CORK week in Kingston. The hope was for good thermals. 13 boats launched from Kingston Yacht Club. Unfortunately, the thermals never materialized and the 3 day event was sailed in Northern wind directions on the lighter side and a very light southern wind on the last day. It was racing with the head out of the boat to say the least. Lead changes were a common occurrence for the first two days between Michael Howarth on Wharf Rat from Bronte Harbour Yacht Club and Peter Dixon on M2W from RCYC. But the third day belonged to RCYC’s David Ogden with four bullets. The overall win went to Michael Howarth and his team. Congratulations!!
